a few pictures of our highly trained fabricators in action.
The
picture above is of our shop foreman Carl Drouin "mirror matching"
a Corian® deck in preparation for seaming together. Corian® is a very
versatile product. When fused together with Corian® joint adhesive
it becomes virtually seamless.
The
scene to the left is the process of fabricating a Corian® one piece or
"cove" backsplash. This is a labor-intensive operation that involves
a 3-step process in its fabrication. Our customers, because of the ease of
cleaning maintenance the one-piece backsplash offers, often choose the cove
backsplash option when upgrading their kitchen.
The
process of fabricating Corian® takes skill and craftsmanship.
All of our shop personnel have many years experience and receive ongoing
training. The picture above left is of
Mike Murphy sanding a small section of a kitchen countertop with cove backsplash
using our air powered sanding equipment. The picture above right is of a seam curing
while clamped with our Paraline® clamping system. By having the latest tools and equipment in
